Who knows – maybe this would’ve been Dwyane Wade’s signature shoe if he chose to prolong his stay on Converse. Of course, that’s now how that cookie crumbled, as he moved on to Jordan Brand, but is there potential for Wade to return once his sneaker free agency becomes official? The Converse MVP Mid wouldn’t be a bad fit for Wade, as it features a stable one-piece foam shell upper with Nike’s Flywire technology at the toe-box, and the shoe is certainly breathable thanks to the multiple cut-out ‘vents’ in the upper. The MVP Mid has hit retail at select markets overseas, so check out this detailed gallery and we’ll let you know if these become available here.
