Early rumors regarding a re-release of the French Blue/Grey Air Jordan IX stirred up some excitement, but it was later confirmed that this Air Jordan IX was in fact colored up in ‘Imperial Purple’ and made just for kids. In fact, the Air Jordan IX ‘Imperial Purple’ is a Girls release, so if the past is any indication, expect a lot of Grey/Imperial Purple Air Jordans and Jordan models for Girls throughout the Holiday 2012 and Spring 2013 season.
