Anyone remember the original “light-up” shoes put out decades ago? That territory was all L.A. Gear (when’s the last time your heard that name), but it’s making a swift comeback for the adult-sized kicks thanks to a number of well-done custom jobs like the Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’ and the LeBron 9 joints. Sneaker customizer Evolved Footwear has been working on infusing lights into his kicks for a while, so following up his Dunk High Hyperfuse project from mid-April is a pair of the Air Jordan III; the upper appears to be completely untouched, with the only custom aspect of the shoe being the light-infused Max Air unit at the heel.
