The infamous ‘Bordeaux’ colorway as made famous by the Air Jordan VII is of course making its way onto the latest hybrid creation the Jordan Son of Mars later this year, but you’ve probably pondered at one time or another how the combo would work if ported over to another entry into the Air Jordan legacy series. Wonder no more, as sneaker customizer extraordinaire Mache has the answer, dialing the numbers back a few notches and building upon the Air Jordan V ‘Wolf Grey’ for the base. From there he turns the lights out, striping sections with some heavy black and then placing the namesake wine color on the rear. Never one to skimp on the details, Mache also made sure the tongues were consistent, creating a cool take on the angular design from the Air Jordan VII’s squishy tongue.
