Two of Nike Basketball’s most eccentric designs of the mid-90s was, of course, attributed to Dennis Rodman. The Shake NDestrukt and the Darwin were undoubtedly floating around the outer limits of conventional design, with the Air Darwin featuring the reverse Swoosh, boot-like build, and unique Max Air window (actually a triplet of small blocks). Both Darwin and Shake NDestrukt returned in 2012 with revamped designs, but if you weren’t feeling the grey/orange or grey/cyber colorways of the Air Max Darwin 360, perhaps this new White/Green/Black colorway might be easier to stomach. It is, in fact, closest to the original colorway from ’94, but the Max Air window has changed just a tad, hasn’t it? More shots of this below, so take a look and expect these at Foot Locker House of Hoops locations soon.
