This Fall 2012 Season, Jordan Brand aims to bring back the Air Jordan VI ‘Olympic’ in tandem with a slew of other Olympic-inspired Air Jordan Retro models, but there’s no question that this reprisal of Ray Allen’s 2000 Olympic joints is the most coveted of them all. Although these aren’t true to the original, as the forefoot of the midsole has been ‘reversed’ in the placement of White and Midnight Navy, leading us to wonder if Jordan Brand made that move as a conscious decision to differentiate it from the original. If you hadn’t noticed, the Air Jordan XII ‘Playoffs’ was slightly different from the original as well (the color of the font on the heel stripe), but this particular aberration is far more noticeable. Will you pass on the Olympic to save up for the other Olympic releases? Additional angles of the Sample version of the upcoming Retro is upon us so take a look and if you’re desperate enough to pay over four times the retail price, head on over to the auction from oregonsole on eBay.
