Nike Sportswear shows us that even pre-visible Air era classic runners can still keep up with the best of them when they get the kind of upgrades that give the Nike Air Vortex Fuse its name. No longer an exemplar of the early ’80s suede and nylon style, this new build opts for synthetics everywhere except for the heel, where leather badges and counters keep this model grounded in its era of origin.
