The Air Jordan IX was one of the underrated and under-appreciated shining lights of the 2012 Air Jordan Retro cycle; we saw not one, not two, but a whopping three OG colorways return to shelves (the classic ‘Bulls’, a reprisal of the ‘Powder Blue’, and the long-awaited comeback of the Charcoal), and surprisingly, the latter two weren’t instant sell-outs, but rather hit sales racks at some locations. Will that be the repeat case this Holiday 2012 season, when four Air Jordan IX retros are set for return? Here’s a first look at the all-new Black/Photo Blue colorway that is slated for a November 2012 release; these first teaser shots feature a black upper with a white outsole and a Photo Blue Jumpman – a color-profile similar to the ‘Citrus’ release of 2010.
