April is certainly the month for the Playoffs, as three of Nike’s postseason ‘Elite’ models will hit stores, but we’re certain many of you have been looking towards another ‘Playoff’ shoe – the Air Jordan XII in the OG Black/White-True Red. The name ‘Playoff’ stuck like glue despite Jordan wearing these during the ’97 All-Star Game (during which he tallied a triple-double), so why couldn’t these be called the ‘All-Stars’? This latest viewing also gives an interesting look at a fingerprint placed curiously on one of the outer faces of the shoebox. Is it a deliberate detail or perhaps a way to battle counterfeit boxes, like the hidden message on the Air Jordan IV ‘White/Cement’? Check out the fingerprint on the box below and let us know if these are the best ‘Playoff’ releases of April. Photos via a-knight
