With such a drastic change going from LeBron 9 to LeBron 9 Low, it leaves us wondering if there’s perhaps a scrapped sample of a LeBron 9 Low lying around Beaverton somewhere (ahem, Petrie?). Looking back at the Air Max LeBron VII and LeBron 8 V/2, the accompanying low-top versions are near carbon-copies of its taller counterparts, so it’s almost like the LeBron 9 Low was designed independently of the Mid. We’ve already showed you detailed images of a few upcoming colorways, but this is our first clear look at the Obsidian/Cyber version, which features the former color on the Hyperfuse shell upper and the latter color on the swoosh, tongue interior, and mid-foot stability wing. If you’re a fan of full-length Air Max, the LeBron 9 Low should be an easy pick-up, so peep the new colorways below and let us know what you think. via hoopchina
