It’s been a while since we last showed you a sneaker cake, so is the sneakerhead’s sweet tooth finally satisfied? These laced-up desserts typically follow hearty entrees, and with the recent controversial release of the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’, it was only a matter of time before the space-travel themed Foamposite shoe became and edible piece of history. Here’s a look at the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’ Sneaker Cake created by Made Fresh Daily Cakes out in Atlanta,GA; it features the outer-space multi-colored upper with dotted stars and planets and the ‘Remove Before Flight’ pull-tab. Unfortunately, the frosting outsole doesn’t glow (and eating something that glows in the dark is probably not safe anyway), but we commend Made Fresh Daily Cakes for pulling off an understandably difficult project with great skill because the Foamposite alone is one of the more oddly shaped sneakers to have ever been produced – in fact, this is the first Foamposite cake we’ve even shown on Sneaker News. We’ve got a detailed gallery at the Galaxy Foamposite Cake after the jump so take a look and hit up Made Fresh Daily Cakes to commission your own delicious pair of deadstock kicks!
