Celebrity sneakerheads like Wale have shown us they can get new Nike Air Foamposite One colorways well in advance of their scheduled retail release dates, but not one of them can rival the collection boasted by this model’s original endorsee. Former Magic point guard Anfernee ‘Penny’ Hardaway played a major role in Orlando’s recently-wrapped NBA All-Star weekend, and not only did the ‘Galaxy’ Foam Ones make headlines nationwide, but Penny managed to push the bar even higher with a never-before-seen player exclusive. After rocking the ‘Big Bang’ colorway in the first half of Friday’s celebrity game, Hardaway switched over to the Air Foamposite One ‘Shooting Stars’ PE pictured above. It’s a design that reflects the Magic tradition while manifesting the ‘Galaxy’ All-Star theme in a mostly white/black combo that’s been one of the spring’s strongest palettes. Have a closer look after the jump and let us know if this pair could cause a similar hysteria to the one we witnessed last week.
