Lil’ Wayne Confirms Signature Shoe With Major Shoe Brand

Today’s hip-hop stars have become worldwide fashion icons, with the general public looking up to the likes of Kanye West, Jay-Z, and Pharrell for fashion and style tips above the latest tracks and beats. Few go on as far as emulating the exact style of Lil’ Wayne, who has gained a reputation of owning one of the most unique and eccentric selections of personal threads. Wearing hats above hoodies, snowboard boots indoors, or his penchant for Jeremy Scott’s most animalistic offerings are just some of his more recent ensembles, but if you’re really drawn to that type of get-up, things are about to get interesting because Lil’ Wayne, in an interview with Vibe, just confirmed plans of releasing his own shoe with a major sneaker brand. He does note that it’s “not a Nike or Reebok” or with his own brand Trukfit, and that deal itself is about as good as done – he just needs to sign the dotted line. Any guesses? Maybe his own co-collaboration with adidas and Jeremy Scott? Maybe some super-duper high-top with Supra? How will it compare to the Nike Air Yeezy or the Reebok x Swizz Beatz?
