For many, Vans is the very definition of California cool, so it’s come as no great surprise that their OTW Collection of skate-inspired lifestyle sneakers is thriving. This preview of what’s to come in Q3 reveals a varied range of styles and one new design, all of which have a decidedly low-key feel. Take for instance the cracked camouflage on the Vans OTW Alomar and Ludlow pictured above: it’s a relatively busy print, but earthy tones on these sleek silhouettes keeps things chill rather than militant. Speaking of military-inspired fare, there’s a sharp new rendition of the Howell desert boot that evokes images of classic Clarks Originals releases with a tweed toe meeting rich brown leather on the rear. This same look is darkened and applied to the Pritchard lowtop, which turns out to be the only established model to have two pairs in this preview. The other model you’ll see twice in images after the jump is a brand new, as yet unnamed boot that allows for some interesting blocking possibilities.
