Like the Zoom Huarache 2K4 that returned first to NIKEiD and is coming up soon to retailers, the Nike Air Max+ 2009 is a recent standout that seems too young to be a retro candidate. But just as the 2K4s are widely acclaimed as one of this century’s very most comfortable sneakers, the Air Max 2009 made a huge splash when it resurrected the yearly flagship nomenclature and paved the way for the past four years of hits. And while the AM2009 iD’s gradient fade is quite impressive, the crisp construction of this new Court Green edition is equally outstanding in its own right. They use the same blocking pattern as the Action Red pair we showed you in January, quite the curious combo to release right after the Christmas season. The Varsity Royal version just dropped and there’s a black rendition of this style as well; which one’s the best of them all? Follow the jump below to continue reading for more images and look for this pair at Kicks-crew.
