Could we expect this colorway in 2013, the 23rd Anniversary of the Air Jordan V? Sneaker News first showed you this funky Air Jordan V sample back in July of 2011 – a product sample that was never produced (with just 3 pairs rumored to in existence). The combination of colors isn’t very different to what we’ve grown accustomed to (a quick glimpse and you might even mistake these as an original), but these are in fact a brand new seedling that leaked out probably in 2007 when the AJV was re-released in a wide array of colorways. the most notable feature of this sample is the translucent red outsole (something never seen in the Air Jordan V), but the red inner lining might have you wondering if this was a variant version of the original ‘Fire Red’. We’ve got a detailed set of images below (with some nice side-by-side comparisons with the actual Air Jordan V ‘Fire Red’) so take a look and check out the listing from abtmchan on eBay.
