Jordan Brand has done a wide variety of Spike Lee-referencing work over the past several years, and though the latest isn’t perhaps as obvious as something like the Spiz’ike, the connection is still evident. The Jordan Flight the Power sees its name taken from a play on the hit Public Enemy single ‘Fight the Power’, which was prominently featured on Lee’s 1989 breakout film Do the Right Thing. This pair doesn’t come with the DTRT colorway we’ve seen on Air Jordans 1 or III, but there is a bit of that blue and yellow framed in navy to achieve something closer to Memphis than Brooklyn. Ray Allen and Tyson Chandler have been spotted wearing these in the early goings of the NBA regular season; will you join them and grab yours from a JB retailr like Corporate today?
