Nike Sportswear has been spotted re-gifting ‘Cashmere’ Air Force 1 Lows across the month of December, as we first saw the new cream-colored shade in canvas on one pair right at the middle of the month, then another one with Obsidian accents about a week later. It’s been a bit more than one additional week, and now we’re seeing a new Nike Air Force 1 Low featuring that same navy/beige mix, only flipped and with leather/suede instead of canvas/leather. Could this be some kind of vague reference to the fact that Seinfeld’s ‘The Red Dot’ first aired right around the same time that Kris Kross’ ‘Jump’ topped the pop charts? Probably not, but AF1s are still as fresh as they were in the early ’90s or any other time in their 30 year reign, and 2012 is shaping up to be quite the anniversary year, even before any special announcements.
