To match to colorful and eccentic nature of tennis star Andre Agassi, Nike Training hooked him up with one of the most revered signature lines in its footwear history. The Nike Air Tech Challenge 3/4 line features some of the most insane color designs of all-time, but it also featured some key design points to fit Agassi’s on-court game, like the Durathane forefoot that lasted longer than conventional soles, and a Dynamic Fit inner sleeve for fitted comfort. This particular model is commonly referred to as the Air Tech Challenge IV (long after Nike started to give numeric designations to its sneakers), but if you consider yourself a Nike Trainer aficionado, you’ll be no problem telling one and the other part. What makes the ATC IV such a standout is its explosion of color on the heel as well as airbrushed gradient on the midsole, but peep the upper and you’ll absolutely no sign of a ‘swoosh’ logo (replaced by a rare ‘NIKE’ label instead). This colorway here is of course of the original three that dropped back in the day (the Black/Purple and the Black/White/Teal being the other two joints), so act fast because these bad boys might disappear sooner than you think, since they never did re-release.
