If you needed proof beyond the sold-out Quickstrikes and countless pairs showing up in the streets, that the Zoom Stefan Janoski is one of Nike SB’s most successful new models in years, check out this upcoming release that has quite clearly been influenced by Vacaville, CA’s finest. The Nike SB Team Edition 2 makes what was once a lost relic of SB’s chunky-tech phase into the first model of a series, though this new chukka-infused design and its brogue detailing quite a departure from the almost DC-like appearance of the first model. These kick the hefty cupsole to the curb in favor of a vulcanized bottom that doesn’t exactly use LunarLon, but we can see from the bright blue footbed on this pair that there is indeed a new material in use on these. Check them out in greater detail after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for all the Team Edition 2 SB release dates. via N-SB
