Nike SB has offered more vulcanized options in recent years that in its early days, the Blazer SB lineup now bolstered by models like the Zoom Bruin, Stefan Janoski, P-Rod 2.5 and V-Rod. Those last two belong to Paul Rodriguez’ signature line, which has recently further expanded by offering a vulc-soled take on the P-Rod 5 that also adds a LunarLon footbed for the best of both worlds with respect to boardfeel and cushioning. And that’s where the Nike SB Omar Salazar LR comes in, an autoclaved remix of the first Swoosh skate shoe that ever featured Flywire that strips out the space age tech for a more traditional appeal. LunarLon on the insoles means these three upcoming colorways are lighter than any of the earlier releases; will you miss the Salazar’s translucent sole window, or should Lunar foam show up in revisions of all the Nike SB sneakers? Click through to see more of the first three Omar Salazar LRs and expect the Black/White colorway in stores this month.
