The Nike Air 1/2 Cent achieved that perfect balance of new and old, deeming it one of the best hybrid models ever created by Nike, so how does the Zoom Rookie LWP hold up? Inspired by the sneakers worn by Penny during his first two years in the league – the Air Flight One, the Air Go LWP, and Air Foamposite One – the Zoom Rookie LWP achieved that perfect balance yet again, but this side-by-side comparison with the Nike Air Foamposite One should have you a nice look at how the new holds up against the old. Clearly, the outsole design, carbon-fiber midfoot plate, and the deep grooves on the medial wall of the shoes are direct inspirations from the Foamposite One, but there’s enough room for noticeable presence of the other two models.
