The University of Oregon is a school steeped in Nike history, boasting big name alumni like Bill Bowerman and Tinker Hatfield. Since the company’s infancy, the campus has been an incubator for products and projects, a tradition that has been grabbing a lot of attention lately thanks to the two ‘Oregon’ colorways of the Air Jordan III. The ‘Oregon Pit Crew’ version shown above was designed by Tinker himself as part of a rebranding project for the Oregon basketball program, with the classic silhouette getting a color boost thanks to the yellow treatment and some unique embroidery on the uppers. With a run of only 500 pairs, these will be pretty scarce, but some lucky ducks will have the opportunity win them thanks to the Pit Crew Organization at the upcoming Matthew Knight Madness event, as well as throughout the season.
