Outside of the Royal colorway, none of the other Nike Air 1/2 Cent releases had any true bearing to Penny Hardaway’s past. Of course, every Penny shoe that does release will be remembered by the Royal Blue colorway, as it serves as the unofficial litmus paper to any new sneaker bearing Penny’s name and logo. This unreleased sample of the Nike Air 1/2 Cent, one that Sneaker News first showed you two weeks ago, also has no real Air Penny connection – the closest being the White/Grey colorway of the Air Max Penny 1 that dropped in ’05. It features a pure white Foamposite upper with beige acting in the supporting role on the suede upper and the rubber outsole. More images await you below, so take a peek and let us know if you think this White/Beige color-combo fits in with the Air Penny motif. via stickie213.
