A Bathing Ape has borrowed a variety of classic American sneaker designs over the years ranging from the Nike Air Force 1 and Vans Era to the adidas Superstar and Clarks Originals Wallabee.  The latest is a takeoff on Converse’s immortal Jack Purcell, the Bape Bad Sta a toe ‘smile’ away from being indistinguishable from the original.  A closer look reveals Bape-specific details embroidered into the side panels and heel, so click through to see more images and let us know what you think of the Bad Sta from A Bathing Ape.  via HS
