Back in 2009, Nike Sportswear released a House of Hoops-exclusive Blazer High LE featuring multicolored tie-dye on the side panels in honor of journeyman guard World B. Free. Compared to even two years ago, we see significantly more player exclusive models hit retailers like the HoH, and the difference becomes more significant the further you track back until we’re talking about Sharpies as the extent of player specificity. So while even the youngest sneakerheads could conceivably still associate the player with this shoe, to see an actual World B. Free Nike Blazer PE is pretty crazy. These blue-on-white Blazers would have been a decent ‘home’ look for several of the teams he played on and are notable for their suede toecap, un-bellied Swoosh and ‘WORLD’ heel tabs.
