Earlier today, Sneaker News showed you an Air Jordan XIV Retro sample from 2005 that would have likely hit retail in ’06 along with the other Retro Fourteens. They came with a black sole, pretty much everything else done in the Chambray blue shade that accented a black nubuck AJVII that same year. And as we hinted, those weren’t even the only Chambray XIVs that we could have seen early in 2006, as this white leather pair appears to have been the other half of a DMP-style two-pack. This particular Air Jordan 14 is blocked identically to the white/red OGs, save the addition of a Chambray sockliner to further emphasize this nearly-Carolina blue. They do indeed come off as a higher take on the OG Columbia Blue Lows from summer 1999 that have come to bear the nickname ‘UNC’, so which one’s better in your estimation? Click through for some more angles and if you’re feelin’ these, a sample is available now from poofyo101jumpmansneakers on eBay.
