We stand just on the other side of the midway point of 2011 and it’s clear that the biggest Air Jordan III release coming later this year is the ‘Stealth’ edition in tonal grey with bred accents. What’s that you say? The ‘Black Cement’ AJ3 is clearly the most significant of the two remaining colorways? You’re probably right but the ‘Stealth’ clearly beats the 1988-born OGs in terms of novelty, as the Black Cements have released twice before during this short century alone — people simply cannot get enough of this shoe. 2000’s release is notable as the last with ‘NIKE AIR’ on the heels, an insignia replaced by the Jumpman for this year’s along with the 2008 CDP version. We have a variety of images after the jump so you can play ‘I Spy’ among the various tiny differences (note the complete absence of nubuck), so click through and let us know which pair was your favorite, and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for updates on this Black Friday release. via mjo23dan
