There was talk in early June of Ronnie Fieg’s latest Asics Gel Lyte III collaboration being his last, though the reception for this past Saturday’s ‘Mint Leaf’ release suggests this is one of those Jay-Z situations where the market demand simply won’t allow this man to retire. The latest GLIII teased on Fieg’s Twitter stream is a mix of black leather, charcoal grey suede and bright blue accents that calls to mind the earliest David Z x Asics collaborations to which he contributed as a ghostwriter.
