Performance-wise, there admittedly isn’t much to this unreleased Nike running sample. It’s got visible Max Air on the heel with ‘Nike Midfit’ comfort tech, with nylon and perforated uppers featuring a diamond stitch-pattern on the upper. Seems like your general running shoe made for the masses, but it’s got one unique design cue that we almost rarely, if not never, see on a Nike shoe. Check out the medial side of this sneaker and you’ll see Nike’s long-lived slogan ‘JUST DO IT’ printed on the upper; this type of detailing is reserved for t-shirts or graphic-heavy apparel, or maybe even insoles, but on a sneaker? Nike is one athletic outfitter that can produce a sneaker with minimal branding and still maintain a brand identity, so it’s strange to see Nike would even conjure this funky design up in the first place (then again, these didn’t release). Check out the images of this rare and unreleased Nike WMNS sample and check out the auction from identitiesrevealed on eBay.
