With its new, lighter heel counter design clearly a takeoff from the success of the Zoom Kobe VI, it seems fitting to see a Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 done with camouflage on its Flywire-embedded side panels. And this kind of ‘hiding’ seems appropriate as a player exclusive colorway for New York Knicks power forward Amare Stoudemire, whose footwear choice for next year is becoming less and less clear. After his STAT line petered out, Stoudemire was a notable supporter of Kevin Durant’s second Nike Basketball signature and moved to the Zoom Huarache TR last year to get that same kind of stability. Amar’e then showed up at his basketball camp last month rocking the upcoming Air Max Sweep Thru, which appears to be something like his answer to the Zoom KDIV, complete with criss-crossing straps. So we don’t even know if there will be an NBA season, much less a definitive choice of which shoes Stoudemire will wear upon his return to MSG, so click through to get a look at his Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 PEs and stick with Sneaker News for a possible US release date. via US11
