The Nike Air Max IV didn’t go on to have quite the same classic status as the AM1 or several of the chronologically-labeled releases, but it didn’t just go away either. The AM4 was reborn as the Nike Air Classic BW, a model we’ve seen Nike Sportswear offer somewhat regularly, if slightly less frequently of late. The newest colorway has an interesting character, especially considering that despite the oft-utilized USA palette and this time-seasoned silhouette, it comes off not as patriotic or rehashed, but impressively fresh.
