Ever caught (or bought) a baseball at a game and tried to get your favorite superstar to sign it, only to find that it’s far easier to get access to the guys who aren’t actually playing? That’s kinda like what happened here, so fitting that the shoe in question was one of Michael Jordan’s signatures: the Air Jordan II in a Gerald Wallace player exclusive colorway. These were crafted for GW3 before he was shipped out of Charlotte, and apparently he left them behind to former teammate Eduardo Najera. Now here’s where it gets goofy: Najera signed the game-worn PE, his own number Sharpied right alongside the ‘#3’ PE markings, and sold them for, get this, a mere $25 bucks during an event this past summer. Seems like a steal, even if it is a shoe signed by a guy who never wore them; would you have laid out the cash to grab them? via Complex
