We knew we were in for a grand finale when Michael Jordan decided to break out the Air Jordan XIV for the first time during Game 5 of the 1998 NBA Finals. We all know how that story ended; Michael had the ball at the top of the key, drove right, crossed back to his left, and hit a sweet jumper to give the Chicago Bulls a 1-point lead – one that would prove to be the deciding bucket for the series. As Michael walked around the court with six fingers held high, the Air Jordan XIV engraved its place in Jordan history, despite seeing just 72 minutes of action. In October, Jordan Brand will release a new colorway of the Air Jordan XIV in Light Graphite, Midnight Navy, and Black. It should remind you of previous Air Jordan colorways, like the OG Air Jordan XIII Flint and Air Jordan XIII Low in Black/Navy. We’ve got a new set of images for you below courtesy of air-randyhk, so check ’em out and let us know if these are a must-have for you.
