Eric Koston is one of the few riders on Nike SB’s current active rosters who can remember a time in the mid ’90s when pretty much all skate shoes looked like the one pictured above: a simple two or three colored palette featuring a suede upper and gum rubber on the outsole. This upcoming colorway from his Nike SB Koston 1 is also somewhat similar to one of the initial releases that just hit store shelves, though a black midsole with just a hint of gum peaking out at the toe makes for a much darker and more serious feel compared to the lighter pair.
