The Conference Finals kicked off this past weekend as the Miami Heat took on the Chicago Bulls for the opening Game of the Eastern Conference Finals. All eyes were on Derrick Rose, Carlos Boozer, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh, a group comprised of four of the biggest free agents from the 2010 off-season and the 2010-2011 league MVP, but our attention was directed toward Taj Gibson who laid down two poster-worthy slam dunks. The notable sneakers of the game were Gibson’s Air Max Fly By, Wade’s Jordan Fly Wade in Black/Varsity Red, and Mike Bibby’s Jordan Alpha 3 Percent, slated to release in the coming months. The dust hadn’t settled quite yet out West, as the Grizzlies and the Thunder were still battling it out for a spot in the Western Conference Finals. The series came down to Game 7 (the only playoff series that reached that mark) in Oklahoma City, where Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook shined once again.
