The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 was one of 2009’s biggest sneaker hits and it landed a enviable spot in th Maxe Sneaker News Top 30 of 2009 list. The Fresh Water colorway that came out first was so popular that it spawned a series of other models done with a similar look, but sneakerhead purists clamored for the 1996 original.
