2011 celebrates the twenty-third anniversary of the Air Jordan III, and Jordan Brand is celebrating in a big way by releasing a number of the Air Jordan III colorways throughout the year. Falling right in the middle of the year and just in time for the summer vacation months is the Air Jordan III ‘True Blue’, a sneaker that released overseas just two years ago and consequently ended up on Sneaker News’ Top 30 Sneakers of 2009. True to the original? Almost; outside of the obvious Jumpman branding on the heel, the ‘True Blue’ doesn’t wrap around the midsole completely like it does in the 2001 Retro and the OG. That won’t stop these from being one of the biggest Jordan Retro releases of the year, so check out these new images via kicks-crew and pick up a pair early right now on eBay.
