Not long ago Sneaker News gave you another look at an unreleased sample pair of the Nike SB Dunk High that featured a unique Distressed leather, treated with paraffin wax. The ‘distressed’ process takes full-grain leather and tumbles it with the carbon-based material, creating natural variations and markings for the ‘distressed’ look. Paraffin wax is also used in a number of other every-day materials, such as candles, crayons, and even foods. In this case, it’s used on the leather materials to make this sample pair of the SB Dunk, which dates back to ’03. The upper features a distressed leather as well as brown suede, with a beige suede swoosh, a total combination of colors similar to the ‘Brown Pack’ SB Dunks or even the ‘Un-Tweeds‘. Check out the images below and if you need to add these to your SB collection, check out the auction from adcemy77 on eBay.
