Since seeing the first images here on Sneaker News last July, we’ve seen several releases from the adidas Originals MEGA Collection. This lineup was conceived to pay tribute to some of Three Stripes’ classic designs, so what better way to celebrate the Torsion Bar suspension system than with one of the original colorways from a running shoe upon which it rested. Check out the adidas MEGA Torsion RV, a model that was indeed a part of that initial preview, its colorway borrowed from the late ’80s classic ZX 8000 runner. These joints come in the unmistakable OG ‘Aqua’ look that echoes the New Orleans Hornets’ logo, so it’s hard to imagine a better time to see them release than right after Nawlins’ game 1 upset over the Lakers.
