The adidas The Kobe, inspired by the Audi TT,  debuted in late 2000 and was a huge hit thanks to Kobe’s budding superstardom and the Lakers coming off a championship season. Ellis Barba selected the adidas The Kobe as the muse for the birthday cake for his 24th birthday, and the side-by-side shots of the cake and the actual shoe reveals how good of a job the baker did.
