The 2011 NCAA March Madness Tournament reached the round of four, as UConn, Kentucky, Butler, and VCU took the court in Houston, TX to fight for a chance to live another day. Red-hot Butler took on equally surprising VCU for a spot in the National Championship, with the Bulldogs coming out on top with a 70-62 victory, led by Shelvin Mack and his 24 points. The notable sneakers of the game were multiple Air Max Fly By and Hyperfuse colorways, as well as the Zoom Kobe V, Zoom Kobe VI, Air Jordan IX, and Air Jordan XIII. UConn, one of the hottest teams coming into the tournament, defeated Kentucky by just one point with the help of Kemba Walker and his 18 point/7 assist performance. He broke out the Air Jordan 6-17-23 yet again, joined by other great sneakers like the Air Jordan Six Rings and LeBron 8 V/2 ‘All-Star’.
