Dudes have been rocking Jordans to prom since the AJXI introduced basketball sneakers to patent leather, but it’s considerably less frequent to see them on what many consider the most important single day of their lives. But we did just see a beautiful bride rocking a pair of 25th Anniversary Elevens, so the precedent has been set for Jays as the footwear of choice for a gala wedding. Such is the case with this crazy Air Jordan V sample that was created as a 1of1 for a Jordan Brand executive’s nuptials back in 2006. The date of the ceremony is embroidered into the inner tongue tag, with the black, white and gold colorway strongly resembling the AJVI DMP (and of course, something of an Un-DMP XI).
