Derek Anderson and his finely-trimmed goatee were once the earliest members of the Team Jordan list of athletes. The University of Kentucky alumni began his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers and earned a reputation as a dependable scorer with a solid all-around game, and during his season with the 2006 NBA Champions Miami Heat, Anderson was the recipient of Player Exclusive colorways of the Air Jordan V Low in White/Varsity Red-Black and and Black/Varsity Red. The ‘Home’ version could be considered as a low-cut version of the original White/Varsity Red-Black colorway, but the ‘Away’ is in a colorway that we’ve never seen in the Air Jordan V before. Another interesting fact is that the Air Jordan V Low was only produced in women’s sizes and it should be noted that Anderson’s PE’s are listed as ‘WMNS’ in the inner tongue label, although these probably are a true Mens size 13. Would you have copped these if a release was made? Check out the detailed shots of both colorways after the jump and to pick up one of the two pairs (or both) of these Jordans, check out the auctions from sole_supreme on eBay.
