The latest example of adidas Originals’ in-house design work following after a notable collaboration is this new/old runner pictured above. The adidas Originals ZX800 has been out for nearly 20 years but rarely has it ever looked as clean as this new colorway. They’re not all the way to Beckham-n-Bond status (their ZX800s completely eschew side panel stripes) but by using translucent synthetics on the side panel, the Three Stripes are clearly (or cloudily, as the case may be) sublimated when compared to the base model. This serves to draw more attention to the Fresh Lemon yellow toe and heel, making for that perfect jolt of energy in your springtime wardrobe.
