Gilbert’s got grapes (and aquas, and True Blues, and…), Ray Ray’s got XIIIs, but the most slept on NBA Feet of the entire season is easily the Nike Zoom Huarache TR Mid worn by New York Knicks superstar Amare Stoudemire. What’ a Nike Training shoe doing on an NBA court? Well, the Huarache TR Mid is just THAT comfortable of a shoe; it’s extremely lightweight (thanks, Torch), it’s extremely well cushioned (thanks, Zoom), and its incredible build just sums up why the Zoom Huarache TR Mid was one of the thirty best sneakers of 2010 (according to Sneaker News). There isn’t a single shoe in which orange-and-blue doesn’t look bad, and STAT’s Knicks PE might have you committing heinous crimes just to get a pair. Best part is, Stoudemire loves the broken-in feeling because he wears the same pair for every game, as you can clearly see the wear and tear from posterizing poor fools on a nightly basis. We’re certain there will be absolute pandemonium if these ever released in the New York area, but since that is unlikely, you’ll just have to settle for the Florida or Boise State Pro Combat colorways. In the meantime, check out this nice multi-angle viewing of STAT’s Huarache TR Mid below and let us know what you think. via Complex.
