It seems like there’s an annual Air Max 90 colorway of the New York Yankees, isn’t it? Tough to swallow if you’re a Red Sox fan, but white/obsidian has been a great combination for a long while. Last year’s White/Obsidian Air Max 90 version featured a white-leather perforated toebox with minor trim of the deep navy blue, but this year’s version uses a nice alternate blocking on the upper that results in a nice white-navy-white-navy-white upper. The medium grey swoosh adds the right touch for that ‘Away’ effect’, but we’d like to make it clear that these don’t have any ties to the Yankees.
