Hideo Nomo’s arrival to American Major League Baseball was without a doubt one of the biggest sports stories of the 90’s. After the astounding success of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1, Nike decided to push the baseball-inspired Retro by re-releasing the Air Max Nomo in 2011 – the first of which is the Varsity Red/Black-White-Varsity Maize colorway.
