Team Sneaker News has been sitting pretty at the number 2 spot heading into Week 13, and a match-up against League Commissioner FLuD Watches of the “Barksdale & Bell” fantasy basketball league would be a true test to the Team SneakerNews roster as Eric Gordon, one of the best players on the roster, went down with injury. Unfortunately, Team SneakerNews could not overcome the injuries as Week 14 resulted in a 3-6 loss to FLuD Watches. While the #2 spot still remains in our possession, our Week 15 match-up against IM KING will determine if we lose or maintain our position as the #2 squad in the league as Emeka Okafor, another big contributor, will be sidelined with an ailment as well. TEAM SNEAKERNEWS WEEK 13 MVP
Amare Stoudemire – STAT continues his stellar 2010-11 campaign and once again reminds us why he was our first overall pick. While leading the Knicks to a solid 3-1 record for the week, Amare averaged 28.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists per game while contributing a block and a steal as well.
