Here’s yet another example of adidas Originals getting back to a bright, high-contrast style that helped them carve a sizeable niche circa 2005-2008. The adidas Questar hearkens back to a simpler time by using a somewhat complicated colorblocking pattern to maximize the ’80s era tech feel. There are just a ton of angular lines on these and more triangles on the distinctive eye placket than your average bridge. Add in an entirely reflective 3M Scotchlite upper and you’ve got one of the more visually impactful designs we’ve seen this year.
